Feeling the advanced PS5 controller, enhances gameplay in Gran Turismo 7, in many cutting edge ways. The PlayStation exclusive racing game, takes the “real driving simulator” to new and exciting levels, when played using the PS5 DualSense controller.

The satisfaction of driving in PlayStation’s marquee sim, using the DualSense controller, is more than just hand-eye coordination. The nuanced haptic feedback kicks in when your vehicle’s speeds up, when going through the gears. This in turn aids the player in spades, by feeling the advanced PS5 controller; like a muscle memory add on.

The tactile feedback from uneven road surfaces, with the engine roaring, along with going over unforgiving curbs, is experienced with varying signature intensities. Oversteering at some tracks, finding the balance between optimum coasting and turning is gratifying. Simultaneously, while saving fuel, the feel of the car in your hands is omnipresent.

The adaptive triggers correlating to braking is also fascinating yet I found the Tekken 7 claw grip when playing Gran Turismo 7, more to my liking. Using cross and square (accelerator and brakes) respectively, one can rely on the nuances of controller haptics.

The AMG CLK-LM ’98 sports car, is a good Legends Car to feel, because the Sony DualSense is put to the test. The Sadegna Road Track A, offering the 485 000 Cr, is were this machine shines. More about this car, and this track in a future post.

The added satisfaction of coming out first at this circuit thanks to haptic feedback

The controller speaker also helps, when one’s sister gets irritated by the perceived voluminous cacophony of Polyphony’s cars. When muted, relying on haptics, is paradigm shifting. Do you “feel” me!
